On the chinese new year they showed emotion by laughing, smiling, and talking loudly. For new year I would do the same thing my famili and I just go crazy with food. Were from canada of couse the food is different but the next morning we end up moaning because we barely slept.

Lissy was more thinking about staying up late than their parents lives because there was school tomorow. And mom made a joke about the longer you stay up the longer your parents lives would be.

I dont thing it is right to think more about staying  up late because you wouldnt be alive if it werent for your parents. It reminds me of every night when I lie to go to sleep then  I read. Bad children (Me too!!!!!)

It is a very good book about a thaiwanese-american family celebrating and going into the year of the dog!

They show emotion very well and is extremely funny.

All the characters on the year of the dog are asking and doing everything a family would do.

I absolutely loved my book artemis fowl. It is a very funny story who will have their readers rolling on the floor. It shows emotion by using some jokes :). I extremely reccomend it fo students from 8 years to 16 years old. Many times Have I not been interesting, but this one I absolutely loved. One way they showed emotion was when a police officer told artemis that If he doesent stop frowning for his dads loss she will shoot him with a trankilizer. In this case not very respectful. But they were both enemies so I don't blame her.
